After the opposition party came out in favor of AAP on the Delhi Ordinance issue on Sunday, the BJP accused the Congress of frequently compromising the interests of its state units and reducing itself to a group of individuals racing around Rahul Gandhi to keep him relevant.
The Congress made it plain that it will resist any effort by the national government to “sabotage federalism” in the nation and will not accept the Centre’s law on the control of administrative services in Delhi. This prompted the BJP to respond.
The Congress’ “unequivocal opposition” to the Delhi ordinance, according to the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), was a “positive development,” according to the Delhi government.
Amit Malviya, chairman of the BJP’s IT division, nevertheless attacked the Congress top brass.

However, he claimed that the AAP and the TMC had agreements with the central leadership of the Congress in both states that provide no benefit to either party.

Mr. Maken, the leader of Congress, declared, “Congress should not support AAP.” Today, KC Venugopal, the general secretary of the Congress, declared that “Congress is not in favor of Ordinance-support AAP.”
He wrote on Twitter that “political desperation and confusion grips Congress.”
Various Congress members have differing views on supporting AAP, with Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury opposing Mamata Banerjee’s rule in West Bengal, and Pratap Bajwa of the Punjab Congress asserting that AAP does not deserve Congress support.
Amidst the disunity within Congress, the BJP spokesperson, Jaiveer Shergill, calls on the party to address its internal differences before taking a stance.
The situation reflects the political incompetence and confusion that the Congress party is experiencing.
