As Israeli artillery continues to shell areas across Palestine, at least seventeen more people were killed early Wednesday. The airstrike was launched on a Shelter in Gaza and a home in the northern Gaza Strip.
Meanwhile, as mentioned by the Press TV, 10 Palestinians– including three children, were killed in an Israeli airstrike on Al-Tabi’een school, which shelters displaced people in Gaza City.
Eyewitnesses told Anadolu that early in the morning, Israeli warplanes targeted a school that had been turned into a shelter. The attack resulted in fatalities among the displaced people who were taking refuge there.
Search operations are underway for searching missing people under the rubble, the witnesses added.
On August 10, the same school, which had been converted into a shelter, became the site of a tragic massacre. Israeli warplanes attacked the school while people were praying, killing over 100 Palestinians.
As per Palestinian health authorities data, at least 80 Palestinians were killed and 47 others were wounded and victims were trapped in the school as the blaze enveloped the other areas.
Three more people were killed by an Israeli airstrike on a group of individuals near the Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahia, located in the northern Gaza Strip, as reported by medics.
Additionally, the Israeli army besieged a school in the Beit Lahia Project area, forcing the displaced people inside to leave.
Since October 5, Israel has initiated a large-scale ground operation in northern Gaza, which it claims is aimed at preventing the Palestinian resistance group Hamas from regrouping. However, Palestinians accuse Israel of attempting to occupy the area and forcibly displace its residents.
