One YouTuber behind the channel “Q” came up with a creative idea to change the shape of bicycle wheels. He posted a video of his creation on his channel, and it’s not just for show – it actually works!
He made the bicycle with square wheels, which is very unusual since wheels are typically round. You might be wondering how the bicycle can move with square wheels, but the answer lies in how this youtuber behind the channel “Q” made the wheels.
“Please meet almost normal bicycles but with one modification – square wheels! This concept is fully working and you can ride and make turns. Creating and installation of square wheels on bicycles has been one of the craziest projects we’ve ever built. Lots of attention guaranteed,” posted the channel on their social handles.

The post has gotten 3 million views and people have different opinions about it on Twitter. Some were amazed, while others didn’t understand why anyone would bother with a bike that requires more effort to move than one with circular wheels.
To create the bike, the builder cut the original tire into slivers that match the steel pieces in the track. The bike has a different look from what we’re used to seeing.
The modified bike sends power from the crank through two gears before turning an exterior gear on the tread, as the center of the square wheels doesn’t rotate.
We’ve only seen videos of the bike running smoothly on flat surfaces, so it’s uncertain how well it will perform on hills or slopes. Nevertheless, the bike looks amazing when in motion.
