Minorities Will Never Outnumber Hindus in India, Says Owaisi

All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul-Muslimeen (AIMIM) President Asaduddin Owaisi has said that the Muslims in the country will never surpass the Hindu population in India.

Conducting a rally at Nizamabad on Friday, February 7, Owaisi said that he was listening to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent speech in Rajya Sabha, where he was heard saying that the population of the world is aging, while that of India is young.

“After 20 years, this young population will age. How much inflation and how much they need to spend—we don’t think of it. Instead, they say the population of Muslims is growing…The Muslim population will stabilize. Muslims will never exceed the Hindu population in India.

“They are now understanding that after 25-30 years, the country’s population will age. RSS (chief) Mohan Bhagwat says to give birth to at least three children. Though he himself is not doing it, that’s another matter,” Owaisi said.

Furthermore, talking about the criticism the Muslims have faced for population, he said that it was said that a bill will come for population control. They have now realized the impact an aging population will have on the nation.

Owaisi also touched upon the topic of Pakistan’s boycott of the T20 World Cup match against India and labeled the Pakistani team as “useless.” He said that India is hosting the T20 World Cup and that “use

Owaisi said India is hosting the T20 World Cup and that “useless” Pakistan’s team has said it will not play against India.
“You should have told them (Pakistan) why you came here and went out from here if you won’t play. But you are sitting silently and listening,” he said.

In his speech, he also launched an attack at the Modi government and accused it of remaining silent on the issue of China’s border.
