PM Modi: India Struck Terror Targets on Camera to Silence Doubts During Operation Sindoor

Date:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday described Operation Sindoor—India’s recent airstrike targeting Pakistan-based terror camps—as a swift and decisive response, stating that nine terrorist hideouts were eliminated within just 22 minutes. Addressing a rally in Gandhinagar, Modi emphasized that the entire operation was documented on camera to provide undeniable evidence and preempt any demands for proof back home.

At a rally in Gujarat’s Gandhinagar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared that India could no longer categorize its conflict with terrorism as a mere “proxy war.” Citing the swift execution of Operation Sindoor—where nine terrorist hideouts were eliminated in just 22 minutes—Modi described the mission as a “decisive action.” He added that the entire operation was captured on camera to provide transparent proof and counter any domestic skepticism. “This is a land of the brave,” he said, emphasizing the shift in India’s stance post-May 6 events.

Modi said the term “proxy war” no longer applies, as terrorists killed after May 6 were buried with full state honours in Pakistan, draped in national flags and saluted by the Pakistani army. This, he said, clearly shows that terrorism is not just a shadow war but part of a deliberate and organised military strategy.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, speaking at a rally, said that recent events have revealed terrorism to be part of a deliberate and organised war strategy rather than a mere proxy conflict. Citing the funerals of terrorists killed after May 6—who were buried with full state honours in Pakistan, wrapped in the national flag and saluted by the Pakistani army—Modi argued that such actions expose the structured support behind terror activities. “You are already at war, and you will receive the response accordingly,” he warned, while emphasizing that India seeks peace and progress, aiming to contribute to global welfare.

Before his rally, Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated in a grand roadshow in Gandhinagar on Tuesday morning, where large crowds gathered to welcome him. This marked Modi’s fourth roadshow during his two-day visit to Gujarat and his first trip to his home state since Operation Sindoor, India’s military retaliation following the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack.

The procession began at Raj Bhavan in Gandhinagar and concluded at Mahatma Mandir, with enthusiastic supporters waving the national tricolour along the route.

Earlier, on Monday, Modi conducted roadshows in Vadodara, Bhuj, and Ahmedabad as part of his ongoing Gujarat visit.
