Union Home Minister Amit Shah, along with state party president Annamalai, launched the BJP’s ‘En Mann, En Makkal’ padayatra in Tamil Nadu and targets DMK.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah began the Tamil Nadu BJP’s ‘En Mann, En Makkal’ (My Land, My People) padayatra on Friday. From Rameswaram, he and state BJP president Annamalai launched the yatra.
The state’s 234 Assembly constituencies will be covered throughout the six-month padayatra. Annamalai will lead the padayatra by walking over 1,770 kilometers and driving the remaining distance in rural areas.
According to Amit Shah, the yatra is “not just a political yatra,” but also “a yatra to take the Tamil language across the world.”
“It is a yatra to spread Tamil culture throughout the country. The yatra’s goal is to liberate Tamil Nadu from dynastic politics and corruption. Its purpose is to improve the state’s law and order. It will mark the start of progress in Tamil Nadu.” said Amit Shah.
Annamalai will lead the yatra, which will visit all parliamentary constituencies in the state, according to Amit Shah.
“He (Annamalai) is going to take Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s message to every district and constituency.” “We will take MGR and Jayalalithaa’s message of welfare politics to the people,” stated the Union Home Minister.
Accusing the state administration of corruption in the ‘DMK files’ published by Annamalai, Shah claimed, “Our Annamalai made one tweet and the entire DMK’s sleep has gone.
The complete corruption file has been released to the public. If Annamalai’s single tweet can cause such havoc for the DMK, what will happen if he travels 10,000 kilometers?”
The BJP leader attacked the DMK administration in the state over the arrest of minister V Senthil Balaji in a money laundering case by the Enforcement Directorate.
Shah told Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin, “You should be ashamed that you have kept Senthil Balaji as a minister despite the fact that he has been arrested for corruption by the ED.”
“Can a minister who is imprisoned continue to minister? Shouldn’t he step down? Stalin, on the other hand, refused to quit. Because he is concerned that if Senthil Balaji resigns, all secrets will be revealed.”
According to Shah, the DMK government in Tamil Nadu is a mafia-run organization.
Additionally, he said that the grants obtained by the Tamil Nadu government from the PM Modi-led federal government are far larger than those approved by the previous UPA administration.
But has this money made it to Tamil Nadu’s rural areas? No. Shah launched a vehement criticism of the state administration, claiming that it went to the DMK leaders.
Further challenging MK Stalin, the Union Home Minister remarked, “I want to remind Stalin, I have provided an account of what the NDA administration has done for Tamil Nadu. Tell the populace now what the UPA government has accomplished for them. When MK Stalin requested Shah to outline the accomplishments of the Center in Tamil Nadu during the previous nine years, the argument between the two leaders started.”
Earlier, Shah responded to Stalin by saying, “I’ve come here to offer you a list of the work we’ve accomplished over the past nine years. Please listen to it with your ears open.”
Given that both the Congress party and Stalin are members of the INDIA alliance, Shah also attacked Stalin and the Congress together.
“I want to inform Congress and MK Stalin. Giving yourselves a new identity would be pointless because every time you interact with people, they will only recall the 2G fraud, CWG scam, chopper scam, submarine scam, etc., according to Shah.”
He added that the slaughter of Tamils “took place in Sri Lanka during the rule of this Congress-UPA and blamed the two parties for the predicament of Tamil fishermen there. The suffering of Tamil fishermen under their reign is the fault of the DMK and the Congress.”
The opposition parties, according to Amit Shah, are solely concerned with the advancement of their families.
“Sonia Gandhi wants Rahul Gandhi to become prime minister. Stalin desires to install Udayanidhi as chief minister. Tejasvi is to be appointed as CM by Lalu. Making her nephew the CM is what Mamata Didi wants. Uddhav Thackeray wants to install his son as chief minister, ” stated Shah.
The ensuing months will witness further developments in Tamil Nadu’s political arena as the ‘En Mann, En Makkal’ padayatra seeks to influence public opinion and shape the state’s future under the spotlight of both regional and national interests.
