US President Donald Trump: Prime Minister of Pakistan would’ve died if it weren’t for my involvement

Date:

US president Donald Trump on Tuesday said that he ended eight wars globally within the first 10 months of returning to the Oval Office. This includes what he described as a potential nuclear conflict between India and Pakistan in May 2025.

“In my first 10 months, I ended eight wars… Pakistan and India would have had a nuclear war. 35 million people said the Prime Minister of Pakistan would have died if it were not for my involvement,” he said.

His remarks, which also went viral, claim that Pakistan PM Shehbaz Sharif “would have died” had he not interfered during the conflict.

He has further said that the Pakistani PM told him that “35 million people would have died” if the ceasefire between the two countries last year was not allegedly ended by him.

“Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir met with US President Donald J. Trump at the Oval Office today. The Prime Minister lauded President Trump’s bold, courageous, and decisive leadership for facilitating the Pakistan-India ceasefire and praised his initiative to invite key Muslim world leaders in efforts to bring an immediate end to the conflict in Gaza and restore peace in the Middle East,” the Pakistani statement earlier said.

“The leaders discussed enhancing the bilateral partnership, with the prime minister inviting US investment in Pakistan’s key sectors and stressing the need to further enhance security and intelligence cooperation. The Prime Minister also extended a warm and cordial invitation to President Trump to undertake an official visit to Pakistan, at his convenience,” the Pakistani statement said.

Meanwhile, India has repeatedly rejected the claims of Trump. India has said that the ceasefire was a direct result of talks between DGMOs of both sides rather than Trump’s intervention.

However, during the address, Trump also highlighted his efforts to end conflicts worldwide, pointing to multiple flashpoints, including West Asia. “I negotiated every single hostage, both living and dead, has been returned home. Can you believe that? Nobody thought it was possible,” he said, talking about the ceasefire arrangement in the Gaza Strip. Trump: Prime Minister of Pakistan would’ve died if it weren’t for my involvement
