A video of a horrific incident is making the rounds on the internet. In the video, a man is seen brutally slitting another man’s throat. The incident reportedly occurred in the busy streets of Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday night.
The barbaric video being circulated on the internet prompted Bareilly Police to respond on X (formerly Twitter), saying, “Inspector in charge Baradari, Bareilly has been directed to take necessary legal action.”
According to the details shared on X, the accused is identified as Rinku, a momo seller. Reportedly, the victim of the incident, Mohammad Shafiq, is in stable condition and has been admitted to a hospital in Bareilly.
In the 7 second video, the victim is seen lying on the road, and the accused is sitting on his chest, trying to slit his neck brutally, while the public can be seen silently watching the incident.
In response to the incident, Bareilly City Ill Circle Officer issued a video statement on X, stating that a fight broke out between two people, and one of them attacked the other with a knife.
“One boy stabbed the other man’s throat with a knife. The victim has been admitted to the hospital and is in stable condition. The knife has been seized, and the accused has been arrested by the police,” the statement said.
Same Day, Another Incident
In another horrific incident, a young Muslim man was reportedly beaten to death during a cricket match in Chikhodara, Anand district, Gujarat, on Wednesday.
The deceased, identified as Salman Hanifbhai Whora, was allegedly beaten to death allegedly by a group of 15-20 men. Reportedly, Salman was helping his friend Shoaib, who was being assaulted by the group during a local cricket tournament’s final match.
Shoiab was being attacked by Gheto Parmar and Holo Parmar when Salman tried to come to help him, However, he was brutally beaten with bats and sticks, leading to fatal injuries. However, the police have said that they arrested several individuals in connection with the incident.
According to the details shared by the police, Mehul alias Gheto Dineshbhai Parmar, Kiran alias Holo Mafatbhai Parmar, and Mahendra alias Fulio Rameshbhai Vaghela were among those detained for their involvement in the fatal beating.
“Others arrested include Akshay alias Ako Narsinghbhai Parmar, Ratilal Raisingbhai Parmar, Vijay alias Pakorani Mangalbhai Parmar (all from Chikhodara), and Ketan Mahendrabhai Patel from Vaghasi. The police have seized various tools and weapons used in the attack,” police said.
