United States President Donald Trump on Tuesday launched a fresh warning to Iran, stating that a “massive armada” is heading towards the Middle East country.
Taking to the Truth Social account, Trump posted, “A massive armada is heading to Iran. It is moving quickly, with great power, enthusiasm, and purpose.” “It is a larger fleet, headed by the great aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln, than that sent to Venezuela. Like with Venezuela, it is, ready, willing, and able to rapidly fulfill its mission, with speed and violence, if necessary.”
“Come to the table”
In the post, Trump called the Iranian leaders to “come to the table” to negotiate. He described this as a “fair and equitable” deal and said that it would ensure no nuclear weapons development.
“Time is Running Out”
In the post, Trump said that he hopes to quickly “negotiate” the deal with the US. “Hopefully Iran will quickly ‘come to the table’ and negotiate a fair and equitable deal—NO NUCLEAR WEAPONS—one that is good for all parties. Time is running out; it is truly of the essence! As I told Iran once before, MAKE A DEAL! They didn’t, and there was “Operation Midnight Hammer,” he said in the post.
Following President Donald Trump’s warning to Iran, Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud said the Kingdom would not allow its airspace or territory to be used for any military action against Iran.
“The Crown Prince affirmed the Kingdom’s position of respecting the sovereignty of the Islamic Republic of Iran and emphasized that the Kingdom will not allow its airspace or territory to be used for any military actions against the Islamic Republic of Iran or any attacks from any party whatsoever, regardless of their origin,” Saudi Press Agency said in a statement.
The US has said that a deal with Iran is only possible if Iran agrees to ban uranium enrichment.
