Days after the formation of the Cockroach Janta Party, on Wednesday, it announced the delegation of three spokespersons in order to expand its team ahead of a protest if it is proposed against the failure of the education system.
The announcement was made through a post on X where the founder Abijeet Dipke said investigative journalist Saurav Das would serve as party’s spokesperson, political researcher and filmmaker Vijeta Dahiya and former management consultant Ashutosh Ranka would represent the organisation before the public and media.
“CJP is committed to changing the political discourse of India, and this will be led by a new generation of leaders,” the post reads.
The announcement says that Das comes with experience in journalism focused on legal, judicial, and social issues, playing a leading role in the anti-pollution protests held at India Gate in November, 2025.
“He has spent several years investigating, analyzing, and reporting on critical legal, judicial, and social issues,” said the CJP.
Reacting to the post, Das said, “I am thrilled to join the Cockroach Janta Party as its chief spokesperson. There comes a moment when the young of a nation realize they are angry because they were promised a future and then mocked, moralized, and treated as disposables for asking where that future went. That moment has arrived. And it is time we change that.”
Meanwhile, Party defined Dahiya as a political researcher, author, and filmmaker. He has authored the books Power of Universe and To Hell With That Job alongside writing and directing Haryanvi films Dararen and Opri Parai.
Ranka, meantime, has previously worked with global consulting firm McKinsey & Company in London. The party further said that he returned to India last year and has been associated with public campaigns and youth-related issues, which include those linked to the NEET paper leak controversy.
Additionally, the CJP founder, who has scheduled his return to India on June 6, said he plans to launch a peaceful protest in Delhi, asking for the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over the alleged NEET paper leak.
Ahead of this, climate activist Sonam Wangchuk showed inclination to join the protest.
“I will be joining the CJP members in Delhi on 6th June if nothing changes by 5th June. Any self-respecting minister should resign if things go so wrong… Not to mention the effect on millions of young lives and in fact the future of India,” said Wangchuk in a post on social media.
