A fresh incident of targeting the minority community Muslims has surfaced on the internet, where a Muslim family on Delhi Road became the target of the incident, which came to light through a viral video on the internet.

In the video, one can see a scooter with a couple along with their three children. Soon the man capturing the video could be heard saying, “Ye Mullaon ka family hai (This is a family of Mullahs).”

The man further says that “Ektoh helmet nahin hai, do ladki beech mein hain, ek ladka aage latka hai” (First of all, they aren’t wearing helmets. Two girls are in the middle, and one boy is hanging in front.

The man capturing the video did not stop her and went further by saying, Ye jo mulla** hai, iske paet mein aurbhi overloaded saamaan hai (The woman is also carrying an overload in her stomach).”

Continuing his tirade in Hindi, he says, “Samjho berozgaari kahaan se badh rahi hai” (This should tell you where unemployment is stemming from), the man in the video said.

Soon the man turned the camera in selfie mode and urged the viewers to tag Delhi police and take action against the family.

“Nahi toh is tareeke se, jis tareeke se overlad hoke chal rahi hai, samaj mein dikkat hai, samaj mein is prakaar ka dikkat hai ki ek toh helmet nhi pehenti hai, accident ho sakta hai.” (“Otherwise, the way she is travelling overloaded like this is a problem. There is an issue in society with this kind of behavior. For one thing, she does not wear a helmet, and an accident could happen,” he said.

Soon the video went viral on the internet, and users spoke in support of the family. “Targeting a pregnant woman because she is Muslim and turning her family into a political talking point is deeply disturbing,” a user commented.

“Population policy can be debated. Dehumanizing a religious community cannot,” a user said.

“A video targets a pregnant Muslim woman and her family riding a scooter while demanding that PM Modi introduce a population-control law,” a comment read.
