A local Hindutva leader has demanded the Haj house of Hindan Vihar be converted into a cowshed. The video of the demand has also made rounds on the internet, where the leader could be seen telling his audience that the facility is not being used “properly.”
The Haj house in question was constructed as a point of transit for Haj pilgrims and was inaugurated by Akhilesh Yadav. However, in a recent proposal submitted by the state’s minority department, it was proposed to convert the building into a guest house ahead of its poor condition.
“Me sabhi Ghaziabad wasiyo se ye bata dena chahta hu ki yeh jage ka istamal theek nahi ho pari hai (I want to tell all the residents of Ghaziabad that this site is not being utilized properly),” he said.
Moving further, the leader says that the place should be converted into a cowshed so that the place can be used in the proper manner.
“Is jage ko Ghaziabad me vishasan gaushala bana diya jaye taaki is sthan ka sahi roop se priyog ho sake (It should be converted into a cow shelter so that the land is put to good use),” the leader said.
The leader said that place has been given to Muslims needlessly.
“Yeh sthan khamakha musalmaano ke diya gaya jiski khamakha gherabandi ki gayi hai toh jald se jald gaushala banadiya jaaye (it was unnecessarily handed over to the Muslim community and unnecessarily cordoned off),” he said.
Furthermore, he demanded the authorities build a cowshed swiftly by concluding the video by saying, “Jai Shri Ram and Bharat Mata ki Jai.” The video, which has made rounds on the internet, has intensified the political debates. The video was captured outside the Haj house in Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziyabad.
