Pinky Chaudhary viral video food plate incident: Hindu Raksha Dal (HRD) chief Bhupendra Tomar, famously known as Pinky Chaudhary, has garnered widespread outrage ahead of his latest video making the rounds on the internet.
The video shows Tomar snatching a plate of food from a visibly poor person at a distribution event. Tomar in the video is seen saying, “We will not give food to Mullahs, no matter who feels bad; no Muslim should eat.” Later in the video he is seen saying, “Mullah na aae, sirf Hindu aae,” declaring that the plate of food is only for Hindus, not Muslims.
Tomar is often associated with hate speech, communal sloganeering, violent threats, and multiple criminal cases. In the year 2021, he was linked to communal slogans and hate speeches at Jantar Mantar, which led to police action and judicial custody. Following this, he admitted in a video that the men who raised the slogans acted on his behalf.
After failing to get interim protection from the Delhi High Court on August 27, 2021, Chaudhary surrendered to Delhi Police on August 31, 2021. Later in the year 2023, he was booked for his confrontation over a “Jai Mata Di” poster while dozens of reports were pending over him. Following the incident, police booked Chaudhary and 13 others under multiple IPC sections, which included rioting and obstructing a public servant, as the video of the confrontation went viral.
In August 2024, he allegedly led a mob that attacked a Muslim settlement in Ghaziabad, vandalized homes, set belongings ablaze, and hurled religious slurs.
In the year 2025, he was again under controversy after he made communal remarks where he said that the Muslims in security forces could be disloyal. By 2024, he had at least 14 pending criminal cases against him in Uttar Pradesh and Delhi following various offenses, which included rioting and promoting enmity. Moving to the year 2026, further allegations were launched against him of sword distribution. The viral video of him snatching food from the poor Muslim man is the latest from his controversies.
