Extradition Process Starts To Bring Back Lawrence Bishnoi’s Brother From US

The Mumbai Crime Branch has reportedly started the extradition process for Anmol Bishnoi. He is the brother of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, who is linked with the firing incident at actor Salman Khan’s residence, with several other cases across India.

As per the Mumbai Police, US authorities have confirmed Anmol Bishoni’s presence in the United States to Indian officials. Anmol Bishnoi allegedly has 17 criminal cases in India and has been involved in the Salman Khan firing case, along with his brother Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldie Bar. 

Last week, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) included Anmol Bishnoi on its most-wanted list and announced a reward of ₹10 lakh for any information that leads to his arrest.

Wanted in the Sidu Moosewala Murder Case

Anmol Bishnoi who is also wanted in the Sidhu Moosewala murder case, is allegedly accused of supplying the imported weapons used in the singer’s killing. He allegedly provided a Turkey- made Tisas pistol and a Glock firearm. Both of these were involved in the murder of NCP leader Baba Siddiqui on october 12.  Sources indicate that Bishnoi had been in contact with one of the suspects in Siddiqui’s murder, implying his possible involvement in the conspiracy.

The 66 year old NCP leader was reportedly shot dead by three men while he was bursting crackers on the occasion of Dussehra.  As per the police, Anmol Bishnoi was in direct contact with the accused and used the social media application Snapchat to remain in touch with the accused while he was operating from Canada and the US.

Police have so far arrested 10 in connection with Baba Siddique’s murder, including two shooters and an arms supplier.
