Muslim Man Assaulted For Travelling in Bus with a Hindu Girl
A Muslim man was allegedly assaulted by Bajrang Dal group for travelling with a Hindu Girl in Karnataka. The incident was reported on Thursday night near the Nanthoor circle in Mangaluru. An FIR was registered by Mangalore East Police Station.
The two were travelling from Karkala when the bus was stopped by a group of three or four men and the guy was beaten up by the group. He has been identified as a 20 year old student in third year of BE, named Sayed Raseem Umar.
“On Thursday, Seyad was returning from Karkala in a private bus at 4pm. Near Nanthoor junction, three to four unknown people entered the bus, abused him verbally and thrashed him. They also threatened him if he told anyone about the incident. The miscreants then dragged him out of the bus and beat him up with sticks,” read the FIR.
Muslim man dies in Police Detention in Madhya Pradesh, Family Alleges Custodial Torture
A 30 year old resident of Gokul Singh Ka Chak in Guna District of MP allegedly died in police detention. Israel Khan was returning from a three day religious congregation when he was stopped by the police and a homeguard soldier for questioning on Monday.
Khan was detained at the Kushmuda Police Chowki. Khan’s father, Munawwar Khan (55), reached the Police Station at around 9.10 pm. During that time, Israel Khan was being thrashed by the policemen, Aslam Khan told Maktoob. “They killed my child. He wasn’t named in any of the FIRs , he was the sole breadwinner of the family. We had talked to the policemen and agreed on the amount of Rs 15,000 after which they said they will let my son go. We want all those involved in his death to be punished,” said Israel’s father.
Police Arrested a Hindu Man in Bulandshahr who Pretended to be a Muslim and Justified Shraddha Walker’s Murder
A man was arrested by the police in Bulandshahr who allegedly made provocative remarks about the murder of Shraddha Walker. The man, named Vikas Kumar, pretended to be Rashid Khan and posted a video on social media to justify the murder.
The brutal murder was discovered a few days back when Walker’s father filed a report of her daughter missing.
“If I was in Aaftab’s place (the accused), I would have chopped her into more pieces. It’s never the fault of one person,” Kumar is heard saying in the video.
Senior Superintendent of Police Shlok Sharma said, “We have arrested Vikas for posing as one Rashid and making derogatory remarks regarding the Shraddha Walker murder case.”
Notice banning the entry of unaccompanied women withdrawn by Jama Masjid
An image of the notice issued by the Jama Masjid administration banning the entry of women alone in the mosque sparked controversy and rage among women. The controversial notice was withdrawn by the administration when Lieutenant Governor of Delhi VK Saxena requested the Shahi Imam.
The notice was posted outside the gate entries of the Mosque. It read- “Jama Masjid mein ladki ya ladkiyon ka akele daakhla mana hai,”/ “The entry of a girl or a group of girls alone would not be permitted in Jama Masjid.”
“Jama Masjid is a place of worship and people are welcome for that. But girls coming alone and waiting for their dates. this is not what this place is meant for. The restriction is on that,” Syed Ahmad Bukhari, the Shahi Imam of the Masjid, told PTI.
9 Christians Hospitalised after a Hindu Mob Attacked Church in Chattisgarh
A newly constructed church in Koshalnar villageof Chattisgarh was attacked by a Hindu Mob allegedly injuring nine christians. This incident occurred on Sunday when the congregation was gathered for the Sunday Service.
The mob asked for the pastor along with his brother to come out of the Hall. The Pastor of the Church converted in 2013 and had been practising ever since. He is also the founder of this Church in Koshalnar and was allegedly beaten up for leaving Hinduism.
The incident resulted in the hospitalisation of nine christians, all of whom were taken to the hospital by the Christian community.
